By India Today Web Desk: Two months ahead of the release of Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero, Ajay Devgn has started giving a sneak-peek into the period drama. A day after Akshay Kumar unveiled a new poster from Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero, the Shivaay actor shared another poster of the film featuring Saif Ali Khan.

In the poster, Saif can be seen sitting on a throne with a sword in his hand.

It is after 13 years that Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgn will share screen space. They were last seen together on the big screen in 2006 film Omkara.

Talking about his character, Saif Ali Khan earlier said in an interview, “Udaybhan Singh Rathod, a great warrior who works as a mercenary for the Mughals, is not your regular baddie but a doomed Shakespearean hero who ends up on the other side. Even in Amar Katha comics he comes across as a cool dude, the kind Johnny Depp has brought to the screen.”

Tanhaji is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare who was a military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha Empire in 17th century India.

On Tuesday, Akshay Kumar shared a poster of Ajay Devgn in Tanhaji wherein he congratulated the actor for his three-decade-long journey in Bollywood.

Akshay Kumar wrote, “We started our journey in this industry together…30 years ago.And I’ve seen your graph only grow from strength to strength.And as you are all set to mark your century with #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior,I wish you nothing but lots of love and luck.Shine on my friend @ajaydevgn”

Replying to Akshay’s tweet, Ajay said, “Hi Akshay, like you said 3 decades and a momentous career. What has made it significant are the films, the love of people and support from friends like you. Thank you ??@akshaykumar”
